Narragansett 2100, Inc., the property managers in Narragansett, the Narragansett 2100 URI Student Advisory Council, and the Narragansett Community Center are conducting its annual food drive from May 10-23. The food drive will benefit the Community Market at St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church in Narragansett.

As URI students leave their Narragansett homes for the Summer, they are encouraged to donate non-perishable items such as canned goods and unopened boxes of food. They can donate their food to their property manager’s office which will serve as a food collection location.

Narragansett residents are also encouraged to participate in this food drive.

Additionally, food donations can be dropped off at the Community Market at St. Peter’s by the Seas Episcopal Church on 72 Central Street in the Pier Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  

Donations will also be accepted at the Narragansett Community Center on 53 Mumford Road, Monday -Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Grace Kiernan, URI rising senior and student representative on the Narragansett 2100 URI Student Advisory Council and URI Student Senate president, says, “The annual food drive is a way for URI students who have resided in Narragansett during the school year, to give back to those in need in the community.”
